Dry Stripping is the process of removing modern varnish and lacquers from 20th Century furniture. The process can also be used on delicate antique finishes. It allows us to strip antique veneers, modern veneers, oak, mahogany and satinwood without discolouration or damage to joints. Almost any surface can be removed with our new process.
Dark lacquers from the 1930's and 1940's furniture can be removed to reveal the original colour to give it a new 21st century contemporary look.
Dark lacquered beech chairs are returned to a light colour.
"Yellowed" modern pine can be taken back to natural pine.
Solid wood kitchen unit doors can be restored back
to the original wood, ready for a new finish.
